![]() Congratulations 2009! Congratulations to Ser Ameer and Amanda Frison on an amazing show year! Geoffrey and Amanda showed up a storm, winning many championships in halter and Junior Hunter. They finished with a Top Five at Region IV in Junior Hunter (woo-hoo!) and then the big move cross country to West Virginia. Geoffrey is now (mostly) behaving himself as the state's classiest trail pony, while Amanda works at a real job and ponders next year's shows. Keep that fly spray going Amanda and stay in touch!!! Congratulations to our wonderful OSU Aableu on the occasion of her 25th birthday in June! Aableu came to us as a four month old weanling in October 1984. She produced five champions out of her six foals and is the proud great-grandma of a Regional Sweepstakes Champion! Still spry and with an attitude, she continues to keep the whole herd in line. She is honored to be on the annual September Arabian Horse World listing of Aristocrat Mares. Congratulations to Jan Rydak and family of Hillsboro, OR on the birth of their gorgeous bay colt by Ser Hilal out of RS Ahlyssa (Ahshir x Trikah). This little guy is tall, correct, has Daddy's good looks and his dam's lovely disposition. And our first double El Hilal! Many best wishes for the future. Congratulations to Rita Welshons of Salem, Oregon on her purchase of LS Sundance, 1998 chestnut gelding (Ser Hilal x Araya). Edward ("Red") was back in the show ring in October 2008 and won the open western championship at the Pacific Rim show, and was reserve champion in the ATR with a junior rider. Love the pictures of the little girls on Edward and hope to see you in the show ring again soon. Congratulations 2008! Congratulations to Cant Buy Me Love (Afire Bey V x Basks Genie by *Bask) 2003 bay mare. (Our first bay, can you imagine?) Genie outdid herself this year with Class A Championships in Open & AOTH halter, Sport Horse in Hand Open & ATH. She was a double Region 4 Reserve Champion in Sport Horse in Hand ATR and Open. And to cap off a great year, US National Top Ten at the 2008 Sport Horse Nationals in ATH!!! Congratulations to Rachel Nicks, of Calgary, Alberta on her new best friend, our wonderful Aargent, (Ser Hilal x OSU Aableu) 1999 grey gelding. RJ is well on his way to becoming the most spoiled and pampered pony on the planet. May you have many years and many adventures together. Congratulations to Amanda Frison and Ser Ameer, (Ser Hilal x Baskatraza) 2005 chestnut gelding. At their first Class A show in May, Amanda showed Geoffrey to a first in his AOTH halter class and then Reserve Champion!! Not bad for her first time showing (and his). At the Pac Rim show in October, he was champion gelding in a huge class and overall high point halter horse of the show! Geoffrey is big and beautiful and just turned three the end of August. Just ask Amanda, he is “the best horse ever!”. Congratulations to Brenda Moe of Redmond, OR on her purchase of Jackman, 2003 chestnut gelding (Ser Hilal x Baskatraza). Brenda and Hughie have already competed in several 25 mile endurance races with top fives in both finishing position and best condition. Way to go guys! Congratulations to Robin Vouga of Raleigh, NC on her continued success with Bleu Me Away (Le Bleu Basque x OA Mahogany Rose) 1999 1/2 Arab chestnut gelding. Robin & Digger make a beautiful pair and we are so happy that he found such a great "forever home". It was great to see you this summer! We really miss you guys!! Congratulations 2007!
