OSU Aableu (Le Bleu Basque x Aaleu) 1984 grey mare,
Aableu has been an incredible producer for us. She is by Le Bleu
Basque, one of Robin's favorite horses, and out of Aaleu (*Eleuzis
x Aarabell (*Bask)). She is a wonderful combination of the Polish
greats, with a dash of Crabbet through *Blue Mantle and Egyptian
through Hillany Mistanny.Aableu was honored as a new Arabian
Horse World Aristocrat in the September 2001 Mares issue. |
|
Aableu has some of the best producing mares in the
breed very close up in her pedigree, including Blue Bierka, Habina
and Ellenai. She was shown briefly as a two year old, and while
she never won a class, she consistently placed 2nd, 3rd or 4th in
some of those huge halter classes of the mid 80's. |
|
Aableu's foals are a delight. They without exception
have had wonderful personalities. Her first colt by Ser Hilal was
sold as a yearling to Mexico. Her second colt is being shown successfully
in hunter, western, halter and stock seat equitation by a 12 year
old girl. Aapera, her first and so far only filly is a multiple
halter champion, and is being bred in 2000 to Bask Flame. Aaperator
was next and her first chestnut. He won the Oregon Futurity, as
did his sire Ser Hilal and was champion stallion AOTR. Aaperizcion
by HR Eluzcion was next, and has been named Regional champion in dressage. Aargent was last foal and he has added her champion foal total to five. |
|
OSU Aableu and Aapera. This is why we love grey mares! |
|
Aapera (Ser Hilal x OSU Aableu) Lovely halter mare,
good little trail horse and quite a character! Produced a gorgeous
grey filly by Bask Flame in 2001, who went on to produce a regional champion Sweepstakes filly in 2006. |
|
Pania (Ser Hilal x NS Marcella) "Sox" is a very sweet
mare, is very tall, has gorgeous movement and tons of presence.
Her dam is by *Pattrone and out of a *Marsianin daughter. She was
purchased by Dawn Stewart of Kuna, Idaho and has produced three
foals for them. |
|
Miss Ser Hilal (Ser Hilal x Chuzette) Misty is out
of a *Chutor daughter who was out of a Bay Abi daughter She went
to one show as a yearling and was unanimous Region IV futurity filly
champion. . |
|
Misty has a marvelous temperment and occasionally
goes out on loan for horse sitting duties. She is a fun loving horse
that really likes to show off. She is also the smartest horse that
we have ever seen. Chip loves to teach her tricks. |
|
Misty produced a wonderful palomino filly by Vanilla Zip in 2006. |
|
Baskatraza - 1987 purebred mare joined the herd in 2002. She
is a wonderful Negatraz daughter out of a Baskin daughter. She
is a sweet, athletic mare and is well broke to ride.
"Baskie" has produced a number of 1/2 arab foals, including
a Canadian National Champion Pinto filly. She has produced four foals by Ser Hilal.
