Ser Hilal (El Hilal x Serikah) 1986 chestnut stallion. Passing
on his beautiful head, enormous eyes, style, size and wonderful disposition. By
an Arabian legend, and out of an Aristocrat mare. |
|
Ser Hilal was a multiple halter champion as a young horse. He
placed 3rd at his first show in the Region IV yearling sweepstakes in a very competitive
class. He was Oregon Futurity Champion and Jr. Champion as a two year old. |
|
After a few years off the show scene, Ser Hilal was undefeated
in his age group in 1996, was Reserve Champion Stallion at the Cascade show in
Oregon and went Region IV top five. He repeated his top five regional win in 1997.
In 1998 he was high point stallion at the CAHO show and won his most classic head
class of 20 entries. |
|
Presence! A Ser Hilal strong point. If we only had the video
camera out during his daily airs above the ground in his paddockŠ. He is generous
in passing this along to his foals. Many owners tell us they just love to watch
them because they are such beautiful show-offs. |
|
Ser Hilal has wonderful movement and was a top western pleasure
horse in limited showing. His owner's bank account could not support extended
showing at this time, but he consistently placed high in the huge western classes
of the early 90's. Elegance, style and an incredible set and length of neck set
him apart. |

Ser Hilal stands at West Slope Arabians in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Shipped semen is available and our shipping charges are very reasonable. IAHA
Sweepstakes nominated sire. Tested SCID clear. Beautiful eyes are the mark of
a Ser Hilal foal. |
|
El Hilal was the leading living straight Egyptian sire of champions
until his death in 1988. He was a double Nazeer grandson, being by the legendary
*Ansata Ibn Halima and out of *Bint Nefisaa. El Hilal was bred by Glennloch Farms
in Texas and stood at Vantage Point Farm in Washington for many years. He was
particularly noted as a sire of beautiful babies and his foals dominated the junior
halter divisions in the Northwest. Look for El Hilal in the pedigree of many of
today's top show horses. |
|
Beautiful Serikah with Ser Hilal at the age of six weeks. Serikah
was an extremely correct and elegant mare, who produced six foals in her lifetime,
four of which have been champions. She was by the many time champion Seratif,
a gorgeous and talented *Serafix son who excelled in halter and western pleasure
at the national level. Seratif left many beautiful sons, and his daughters are
treasured as top producers. Serikah now has descendants throughout the US and
Brazil. Ser Hilal is her only producing son. |
